I absolutely love this video and you picked so great artists for it. I am an artist and lover of many artists including one that is closely related Tamara Karsavina. Leon Bakst was the set and costume designer for the ballet Russe for many many years. Actually in Baltimore you can still see some of his work at the Evergreen house which I have been to many times. You might do a google search on him because he did some amazing work also.

Jan Van Eyck is great indeed. If you're ever in Belgium, go check out the Groeninge museum in his home town Brugge/Bruges. Lots of Flemish 'primitives' there.
And if you like Van Eyck, you'll probably like painters like Hans Memling, Rogier Van der Weyden and David Gerard (I've seen his 'The judgement of Cambyses' for the first time when I was 5 years old or something and it made a lasting impression on me. It's probably the reason why I like this period of painters)
