Australia is just plain rough, all survival, and has giant "ducks" of doom, super "lions" , "dragons", Marsupial "hippos", oddly-proportioned oversized hopping pouched thing (bigger than those we have now), giant river beast, snakes, and much more.
N. America may have familiar creatures but in greater proportions, greater diversity, and a lot more feisty.
Either way, these early humans may have conquered beast, but are somehow helpless against Europeans!
Seriously... are you not going to acknowledge the Solutrean peoples were here 2,000 years earlier from Europe... You talk about the course of History being changed yet you Don't acknowledge the evidence... The real History continues to be learned.. The Truth is often an Offense but Never a Sin... White Stone Age Europeans were here 1st..! The Human Genome Project confirms this. As The earliest Eastern Asian Tribes have the genes. and the physical features long before Columbus.
I've never read that humans were responsible for killing off Mamoths, . it is interesting though to consider, how people described these monsters, which continued as people explored new regions encountering surviving monsters such as octapus etc. It's pretty clear that people have a difficult time describing what is so different from what they've ever seen, and may not even be able to see it properly at first. Facinating.

@zeepzop 1st Blades not necessarily swords... beside it was from that time with that knowledge
amilosempre 1 year ago
@zeepzop obsidian blades are sharper than scalpels. No way you could get a sword sharper than chipped obsidian.
