Nice to see vintage heavy metal being pushed by new technology. Lincolns of that vintage ride sooooo smooth. Proof that you don't need a Yugo-sized death trap to get good mileage. Good going Neil and the guys from the conversion shop !
good on you Neil, u basically didi what id love to do with a real old full size car! hate those discs though, makes the car look like some kind of futuristic car from "Back To The Future"!
hola linc-compadres~ , i just spotted the lincvolt up on blocks ---> in an alley off 1st street , san jose~ ------> it looked like it was missing those custom wheels --------> now neil has to tour to make more denero~ to buy new ones !!! ------> moral of the story ------> never park your lincvolt in san jose~ !!! --> unattended !!!
Hi, like the video and the jams Neil , got a 59 lincoln too , but still running the 430 under my hood, Been working on the old car a few months and have either differential or tranny problems ? but will be driving her someday too , as soon as it warms up again, Regards Tom !
tom ? neil said hes ashamed of you for polluting the atmosphere with that dirty running 430 linc-v-8 ( with too high of a float level and leaky valve guides )
I have a good question , if this linc-volt power system is so powerful and produces more than enough electricity than needed to run aforementioned lincvolt , i wonder if the crazy horse band or csny could park this hot rod lincoln on stage and use its 45 kilowatt output to power all the amps , whizzers , pa systems and stage lighting ? my custom built rv has multiple power systems , solar , battery , ac/dc and a built-in fender amp to scare the fellow campers and bears and occasional BIGFOOT !!!
Congratulations, Neil and crew. This is an admirable accomplishment and I wish you the best of luck for continued success. I'll be supporting the Linc Volt all the way!
Lookin' good. How do you think it would handle our Canadian winters? Hmm. Perhaps Neil should drive the old car up to Toronto for the shows in December. Arrive in style. What kind of car did he leave here in all those years ago after the Squires?
Thats awesome Neil. You should name the next one the Revolt.

we should be retrofitting GM & Chrysler new cars and save the dealerships on the chopping block! why isn't there stimulus money for this?

Does anyone else find it ironic that there is a massive gas guzzling Hummer following these guys in one of the shots?
