Mark still lives in Marin. He had to pull the plug on DAS in 1998 when he moved to Novato as the phone company wouldn't install the lines to support it in his new house.
I remember Dial-A-Spazz! omg, yep, I was there (had no business, still in junior high & high school!). But he's kind of right, it was so innocent back then. We were all very lucky in that way. I even got a fun, respectable date out of it once. Friends & I had a great time with it. Mark was way ahead of his time....There were other rogue lines in the Bay Area, too ("loop lines") c/o phone co. workers, haha!. They could get crazy, those larger coverage areas. But mostly fun, too.

Holy Crap. I lived in Marin and loved Dial A Spazz. I wonder where those guys are now? I still remember the number to the input line!
