What shall I say. The music is not very special in any way, The chorus part is acceptable, but other than that this sounds like your typical simple rocker song to me. Not very melodic. As far as it comes to sound, I would say it sounds pretty good, but the harmonics are quite missing, to make it really interesting to listen to on the longer term.After hearing it 1 time,I feel like "ok, I heard that" and do not crave to listen to it again,because it's such a simple part repeating the whole time
I am so proud of Queen coming back. Even we lost Freddie, Queen still sounds great! Much better than before and better songs of today. I am not a fan of rap music. And todays music isn't the same anymore. But Queen brings back the good ole rock in roll.

Das ist bei AC/DC nicht anders gewesen und war auch bei Iron Maiden so. Gut ist, dass Paul Rodgers seinen Vorgänger nicht zu kopieren versucht, sondern seinen eigenen Stil in die Band bringt. Ich finde das gehabe um den neuen Queen-Frontmann Paul Rodgers (Queen ohne Freddie ist kein Queen) einfach dumm. Eine Band verändert sich mit der Zeit. Das ist bei AC/DC nicht anders gewesen und war auch bei Iron Maiden so. Gut ist, dass Paul Rodgers seinen Vorgänger nicht zu kopieren versucht, sondern seinen eigenen Stil in die Band bringt. Das mag einigen gefallen oder auch nicht (Geschmacksache), trotzdem ist es immer noch Queen und das ist auch gut so.

They say he was retired, but he simply didn't feel like being in the band anymore after Freddie died and he disliked Queen touring with other artists. Wikipedia says so at least.

wow, that is such a chidish comment. Freddie is gone, so be glad that Paul is singing with them. I'd rather get to see Brian and Roger live than nothing at all! I agree John should come out of retirement but it's his desicion. I'm sure he gets annoyed when people are begging him to rejoin when he has made up his mind!

Okay I understand your perspective, and I also would rather see Brian and Roger live with Paul than not at all--that is true. I suppose I must stop trying to compare him to Freddie, because that is impossible. SO thank you for allowing me to see it in another way, but I do not believe that my opinion was childish, however, for it is only my opinion.
And as for John, I completely understand his decision, but one can dream, right??!

I think one must be totally deaf to say Paul Rodgers has a bad voice. We all know he's not Freddie, but people should recognize he's doing a nice job without trying to replace Freddie. The guys made a great album, it's not Queen but you know, on the sleeve you can read "QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS". As a Queen fan, I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to see them play live.
