Hey, I just got back..And may I say it was pretty good...Though, I cant help but feel something was missing..I dont know...The prequal parts were simply fantastic..I loved how Zombie did that...though, the entire returning to haddonfield seemed rushed and slammed all together...and couldnt stop myself from refering back to the original...anyway, it was good, though I prefer the original...

The Halloween 6 Directors Cut would have been the actual final series. That version is rare to find, bought it online but it doesn't come in that good, the graphics in that movie are screwed up.

The movie looks good and I wanna see it but I still have to say that they pushed these Halloween movies for too long. They had the directors cut Halloween 6 which would have made the best way to end the whole series, then they made another version of Halloween 6 that they should have never did. Then from there they continued to make the movies and they went away from the thorn cult script which made the movies just drag on because they didn't go along with 1,2,4,5, and 6.

Ok, this movie looks great. The Halloween dynasty, or whatever you might call it, is awesome. No one/thing beats Michael Myers. Which brings me to my point.

Is giving Michael this much of a personal background and personifying him more as oppose to making him a 'monster' going to make this more scary or less?

I respect Rob Zombie a lot. I love his music and movies. We even went to the same school. So I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he knows what he's doing.
