  • Awesome tank. Love the 3 side visibility.

  • How many purple Tangshan do you have in there? I always thought you could only have 1

  • is this in a fish store ? or a very wealthy reefer....

  • @levi408 latter

  • wow !!!!!! nnice

  • Holy crap that is alot of vortechs.

  • best tank everrrrrrrr! great looking fish and corals water quality must be superb!! congrats on owning a piece of the ocean. lol

  • Very impressive. Are those bicinctus clowns?

  • theres a quarter mil.

  • what kind of tang is that swimming near the bottom left at 00:23 seconds?

  • @peregrine0508 its a red sea purple tang like 120 dollars

  • @bigstick54 ok thank you I was wondering! very pretty...

  • @bigstick54 wait that big one??? I thought the purple tang was the one with the yellow tail...i was talking about the big blueish fish..

  • No offense, but do you mean 1200 gallon total in the system? Because that tank does not look 1200 gallons. I think it looks like 500 gallons or something like that. I could be wrong.

Those pumps are beast, and your tank craps all over my 125.

  • Amazing setup. I wonder how much it costed when you bought it and how much the bill is each month to take care of it. Whatever it is, I think it would be worth the cost as long as you can afford it =) I love it. Nice job and brilliant filtration system.

  • how do you feed all the coral

  • Definitely, one of the best aquariums i've ever seen; and i've had more than my share.Very well done, amigo.

  • This tank is unbelievable do you have a build thread for it?

  • vtech just kicked in yo

  • check calcium, alk, mag levels, check PO4 and NO3. You are probably grossly overfeeding. Your "96watt" light is probably some piece of crap compact fluorescent, real lights include individually reflected T5HOs, MHs, and to an extent LEDs on shallower tanks. Stop using tap water as well, its very high in NO3, PO4, and silicates. I run live rock, sand, refugium, lots of flow, and a protein skimmer for filtration. Have fun.

  • This reef is amazing, i can only dream of mine becoming even close to yours. Great job!

  • That's just sexy, right there!

  • how many vortechs would someone recommend for a 4x2?

  • 2 MP40s

  • wow, just wow.

  • Just love your setup!! Well done!! your display looks amazing.

I have an 8'x3'x2.5' and I am running Vortech and Tunze pumps. The Vortech pumps are a fantastic piece of kit and a great addition to any marine aquarium. Congratulations your display is absolutely awesome.

    Cheers

    Tony.

  • That's beautiful! Excellent work!

  • i can see you have the vortex pums on both sides at one end so which direction is the flow moving around your tank, it can't be going in a circular motion? if you had the vortex pumps just at one side of the overflow do you thing that would work and would make the water go in a circular motion around the rocks? is there something i'm missing, do one set of pumps pump the water and one suck . whats the pros and cons of setting if up like this, pumping it the long way round if ya know what i mean

  • coralite, i'm thinking of settin up a tank in a simalar manor to yours, it will based on your setup i've seen the tank i want it about 70us gallons and will it's a long bullet shape at 100cm l, 40cm d, 67cm h with one of the ends being curved, i want to set it up like yours with the rocks in the middle and you can walk around the whole tank, and i'll have the flow and overflow to the sump from one side of the tank like yours but thats what i'm a bit confused about,

  • what do you do if you leave for say a vacation or something?

  • My GF and I watch this tank when the owner is on vacation.

  • wow.. how well do you have to know him in order to watch his 25000 dollar investment?

  • @corallite nice dude wow be a prevlege to look after something like this

  • thats amazing..i hope one day to have a tank as beautiful as yours

  • You need some large ANGELS!!!

  • 90% of Large Angels Eat Coral Polyps.. therefore they would destroy the reef.

  • to be fare depends on the individual fish and how well its fed iv seen many large angels kept successfully in a reef tanks theres just a large risk

  • woah, nicest tank I've seen on youtube, congrats! I think I saw like 4-5-6 purple tang, a naso couple, etc... I think not many people can understand the amount of money and time invested in a project like this. I don't know if your a pet shop or just a fanatic, but if it's the second option, please quite your day job ;)

  • amazing

  • For how many hours dose each side run in a normal day????
