  • @the worried daphalee- My basset looked worried when eating peanut butter on bacon. It's the weight of the ears that makes them look worried :) Like any dog, they LOVE the attention.

  • Adorable!! My roommates chihuahuas would always sing-along with anyone warming up in the house. I know I heard a perfect triad at least once :)

  • That pitch isn't high enough to hurt his ears. That being said... this is so great. I love it. I'm an opera singer and I have a basset. All he does it sit and wag his tail when I practice. It's cute. But, this takes the cake.

  • good point:)

  • yeah really high pitched sounds hurt them and they will either moan or howl.

  • Lol....that's pretty neat. My dog would just "bay" at loud noises or really any noise that annoyed her. Haha

  • He looks so much like my little Hailey. How handsome he is... :o)

  • This is hilarious!!! HA HA, the "good boys" and "that's prefect" are so teacher like! We loved it! -The Davis Family

  • You sure it's not hurting him? He looks a bit worried.

  • That is awsome! How did you manage to teach him that?

  • My husband and I are both professional musicians (singer and pianist), and actually never taught him to do it. We believe (could be wrong) that he hears so much music, he is just highly sensitive to pitch. Even when the piano tuner comes to our house, Bartok will "howl" in tune with the pitches in the upper register of the piano!

  • @bartokhound So, you also like to torture the Basset as I do? L0L
