Yangshuo is really nice !!! I `m so lucky to live in this town.I hope more and more people come to visite Yangshuo and stay in my hostel Charming Inn.
been there many times..great for westerners. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there. Plan on retirement there or in Guillin. Maybe open an English school (Texas/American/Chinese).
hey is it safe to visit this beautiful place ? how much does coast to visit ? i planing to visit beijing where the great wall is and then go to guilin , my wife is just worried for the safe of our 8 year old boy !
Im so happy i understood chinese! At 2:18 the guy says "my home, my home is here". I have lived in china for 2 years and i had the chance to visit yangshou.
It is doubtlessly one of the most beautiful places i have ever been to. The energy of the whole enviroment is just amazing.
If you go there, don't miss The Moon Hill. It's absolutely fantastic.
i'm jealous of you guys.this is paradise.yangshuo is all about 'san sui' or mountain & water. just hopestarbuck,mcdonald,hilton,&hiphop won't find this place forever.
@harrysimnyc I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've been there this weekend and McDonalds, KFC, and plenty of techno clubs at night already found this place. The surrounding area is still as breathtaking as portrayed in this video though!
The main draw to Yangshuo is the countryside, not the city (which it really isn't a city). There are plenty of videos on big cities in China... this one is proudly about Uncle Yao's water buffalo. thanks.

Of course it is safe. also inexpensive. Beijing is much more expensive.

The main draw to Yangshuo is the countryside, not the city (which it really isn't a city). There are plenty of videos on big cities in China... this one is proudly about Uncle Yao's water buffalo. thanks.
