Saint Jimmy and Jesus of suburbia ARE the same person but Saint Jimmy is this isolated, alienated quiet kid. And Jesus of Suburbia is his alter-ego who's basicly a badass and totally the opposite and the whole story is about Saint Jimmy who has multiple personality disorder. Hence the line "The Jesus of Suburbia is a lie" because its not who he really is...

@SuperMegabar see i got the total opposite out of this. the story starts off as this kid, who for all intents and purposes has taken the name Jesus of Suburbia....because he lives in the suburbs, yknow? so he gets fed up and runs away to the city only to deal with more inner demons than he had before. this is where the story takes 2 roads: st.jimmy as the poweful, destructive personality inside him, or he literally meets Jimmy who brings him to the darker side of life in the city.
