  • Literally Father of his country... Crazy stuff.

Even Tumosis III was not as Great..

  • HE HAD NOTHING BETTER TO DO SO HE IS LIKE MAKE STATUES OF ME NOT ONLY THAT THEY SHOULD B SOOO BIG THAT EVEN AFTER I DIE I SHOULD LOOK BIG JACKOO WAT GOOOD IS THAT

  • Wow, Ramsses really was a FAMILY MAN!

  • My God in 3,000 years. Nothing changed. We still nag and argue:)

  • @1958louief It's amazing and funny at the same time lol!

  • @HistoryLover1550 I know, Somethimg through out centries

do not change..I saw your comment on him being a Family Man.

He must have been awesome looking or it was out of duty.

One thing is for sure. He was must have had a Great Sex Drive::))

  • @1958louief For sure, I agree! As Pharaoh of Egypt, it's hard to imagine a woman who wouldn't be captivated by him.

  • @HistoryLover1550 Men to. It is well known that that most Pharaohs had male or learders of the times had both male and female lovers. it wasen't as Taboo. Then as it is now.

  • @1958louief Ikr, some things really haven't changed. In fact the first homosexual couple was from Ancient Egypt! Interesting isn't it?

  • @HistoryLover1550 what does" Ikr" mean? You are only one in a million that know that.. I thought I loved history. You love it as much as I do:) being Gay now is looked down on. To bad. we are fun people. American History does bore me. I just can't get in to it. I Love Greek, French, English, Judean, Roman, and most of all Egyptian. What we have today is mostly due to their history. Of coures we think we were smarter than they were. 3000 years there buildings and history still stand:)

  • @1958louief Ikr means "I know right" I agree with u, American history bore's me too. I'm more into world history.

  • @HistoryLover1550 Thanks::)) Ikr will now be in my brain.

After sending this Thank You!! I'm watching Alexander the

Greats tomb. Thanks for the heads up on Ikr::))

Iflada this means I feel like a dumb ass::))

    louie

  • @1958louief U r welcome, Alexander the Great's Tomb is another good one! Hopefully one day his mummy will be found.

  • @HistoryLover1550 It seems funny that his lover Hephanestion is almost never mention, Just as Achilles lover Patroclus. It is sad that the World can't comprehend the fact that being Gay isn't weakness.. The two Greatest Leaders that ever Lived were gay. When you are in a Relationship who is the person you trust the most, The Person you Love. So Hephanestion and Patroclus deserve their rightful place in History. Without their support who knows how things would have turned out.

  • @1958louief I agree, in Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome the term Gay didn't exist and it didn't have the same negative reactions as today. When Christianity was on the rise they saw this "pagan" practice as disgusting when really there's nothing wrong with it. Back then your gender and age didn't matter in contrast to modern society.

  • @HistoryLover1550 I must say, You know your History. Most people read what is written in their History book in School that fail to mention anything about their lovers. But will speak of Wives. History can't be rewritten as much as people would like it too be. I like the way you put "pagan practice" in your wording, and that gender nor age mattered. It is the truth. The thing I respect about Alexander, He didn't make people bend to his ways. He embraced their ways, and learned from them.

  • @1958louief True, I admire that about him too. It's a shame that his vision of a peaceful, intellectual, advanced, and culturally diverse world was shortlived. Yet, its essence can still be felt and were coming to embrace it more today.

  • @HistoryLover1550 There hasen't been a leader like him since. I was trying to think of one of our leaders that 3000 years from now will be remembered. i couldn't think of ONE.. It is Awesome How he did all of this in 13 years, and died at 33yo. To be remembered all of these centries later... That is what makes him THE GREATEST LEADER EVER!! Today I can never see that happening again,

That goes to show you how weak we have become.

  • @1958louief Exactly, he changed the world forever!

  • @HistoryLover1550 To bad we haven't Changed it for the better. We are just making it Worse. Now I'm going to my next adventure Cleopatra. Always wanted to know the Real story, and the type of person she really was. Not the Liz Taylor one..

  • @1958louief She was not just a great queen. She was a diplomat, writer, mother, scientist and the only woman who came close to ruling the entire mediterranean world, a icon ahead of her time. "Avatar" director James Cameron will be doing a film about her based on the new biography "Cleopatra A Life" by stacy schiff and Angelina Jolie's set to play the queen.

  • @HistoryLover1550 I starting to understand her. It is sooo unlike the woman I was taught in school. it wasn't all about looks. She had a Brain. I'll keep intouch. I see your comments on some pages:) I didn't know about the movie. I hope they do her justice.

  • @1958louief Me too, and I hope her 3 kids by Antony are finally acknowledged, caesarion's got too much of the spotlight in previous cleopatra films. Thnx for KIT.

  • @HistoryLover1550 I really think it should be played by somebody like Halle Berry instead of Angelina Jolie, considering that the noble class of Egypt had become a hybird mixture of ancient Egyptian and Greek thanks to Alexander the Great and Ptolemy the first who married an Egyptian noblewoman. Hellenistic culture should be shown and the movie should be accurate in everything.

  • @ThePharaoho Halle berry would be good for the part, as a matter of fact I read Cleopatra was part Syrian and in one bio. on her it said her Mom's family were devotees of the god Ptah and of course the ptolemy kings had to have had Egyptian women as part of the Harem. I just hope whoever writes the script, directs the film, and whoever the historical consultant is does Cleopatra's story JUSTICE!

  • @HistoryLover1550 Yeah, me too...I'm so tired of the cliche' seductress bid. Queen Cleopatra was much more than that. I hope they portray her as a capable statesman and as an extraordinary intellect because she was.

  • @ThePharaoho Exactly. im reading Stacy Schiff's bio. on Cleopatra now and Im even finding out new things about her that I didn't even know! The truth has to be told if this film is going to strip away the legend of her life.

  • @HistoryLover1550 ..dude even BEFORE that....a being called GOD..said WOMAN and man ..not man and man..egypt came AFTER......come on now...

  • @AGCcachanilla True

  • @AGCcachanilla The point HistoryLover made is quite accurate if you actually study the history of those ancient societies. As for God, what you mean is things written by men claim some guy in the sky said whatever.

  • funny, gossip on walls of houses.

  • Jeeze the guy was rite he was literaly the father of his coutry i bet a lot of people can trace their ancestery back to him

  • I can't even get my own wife p...

  • @crawhip2 That one was kinda funny.

  • OMG 3 of his own.. Omg sick.

  • @MissMascaraD Ikr! Kings back then could do what the hell they liked!

  • @MissMascaraD that is pretty disgusting.....wow inbred Egyptians

  • @MissMascaraD He married them only for political purposes; I'm sure he didn't have sex with them, just like the Pharaoh Akhenaten married his elderly mother Queen Tiye after her husband and his father Amenhotep the third died. It was due to rank and being the most senior of women in the royal household.
