@lolperson451- Flat Earth theory isn't "science" there was no experimentation done, at least none that provided any evidence in a flat earth, rendering it superstition. Also, Newton's views on atoms were a hypothesis, he didn't find evidence of subatomic particles because he didn't have the technology. Laws of science have an empirically determined constant, therefore his theory on atoms being the smallest was just that, a theory, and not scientific law.

He gets physically very sick--a bad, bad flu--for days and weeks, with intense muscle cramps, vomiting, crazy sneezing, zero energy, depression, and insomnia. Then I eventually realised how the concept of Santa was impossible, as how he can deliver so many presents in one night. Religion is like that. Early on, humanity did not have science. @lolperson451- Flat Earth theory isn't "science" there was no experimentation done, at least none that provided any evidence in a flat earth, rendering it superstition. Also, Newton's views on atoms were a hypothesis, he didn't find evidence of subatomic particles because he didn't have the technology. Laws of science have an empirically determined constant, therefore his theory on atoms being the smallest was just that, a theory, and not scientific law.

He gets physically very sick--a bad, bad flu--for days and weeks, with intense muscle cramps, vomiting, crazy sneezing, zero energy, depression, and insomnia. It's hard to keep his job and family life together in this state, so there's huge pressure to use again to keep the things he values most. He can't tell his boss what's up.

@SneersAtDeath Religion is like a childhood story. Like when I was a little kid, I used to think Santa was real because my parent bought me gifts and faked letters to me. Then I eventually realised how the concept of Santa was impossible, as how he can deliver so many presents in one night. Religion is like that. Early on, humanity did not have science. So they believed the Bible. As we progress, we realise that those things are impossible and we find logical reasons as for why things happen.

Also, God did not want us to be robots. If he interceded to save that woman, would that allow us to have free will (i know it sounds sick)?
