This video is a little biased considering that it only talks about areas of Pakistan where the Taliban is present.

Christians in Pakistan, according to the law have as many rights as anyone else. Christians are in the Parliament of Pakistan, and at least one Supreme Court Justice of Pakistan was a Christian.

I went to Karachi three years ago, there was a huge cathedral there, I didn't see anyone persecuting the Christians or forcing them to convert there.

The dhimi status by today's standards is obviously unacceptable.The same goes for the non explicit abolition of slavery in Islam. But that was then now, in my view, the concept of "IJTIHAD" ie kind of re-interpretation of islamic rules should be implemented to accomodate the modern world.
