I feel like if this would play perfectly in like a psychological horror movie like if the main character walked on the high way and saw someone had died there
@Karnage515 - not annoying at all, I use sound forge, just the two track version, been using it for 15 years now? Will upgrade to the multi-track version soon. So yeah, pretty much everything I do is mostly done in sound forge.
@Clobberbob55 - Life has been very crazy the last few weeks, hope all is well with you my friend. Thanks for watching and letting me know... FWIW, I sometimes miss my solitude and loneliness.
@alacazam For the most part....I savor my solitude.
And, it is essential to most of my creative endeavor.
Loneliness, was an affect of your video.
It was profound and intense, but after giving it some thought, I've come to understand why it struck me the way it did. I have a quest, a journey which I feel I MUST make. Present circumstances have that road, closed. I struggle to open the road, and Hit it.
I'm a sucker for flat-frame imagery, but still, excellent visuals to go with this. Very transient and wayward, versus stationary. Odd place to be at rest, when your in a place where people come and go.
@quexalcoatl - Hey q, thanks for commenting. What do u mean by flat frame imagery? No panning ? I have been using the iPhone quite a bit the last few months for a couple of reasons, shots just happen, and I don't have to carry a camera around with me. + it is so fluid and spontaneous. The quality isn't an issue for me anymore, it is more about the visuals. Been watching a lot of Porcupine Tree videos lately and I love the stuff they do to the video. Oh, and fuck YouTube's character limit. :-(
@alacazam Open to interpretation, but for me flat frame imagery is when you have large geometrical components that make up a scene that is mostly static. I think Kubrick or P. Lorentz. Spontaneity is absolutely the best method. It's the only way anything visual seems sincere IMO. Naturally caught the feeling of isolation with the close\far lights though.
Two or three years I have been lingering in the shadows and listening to your music. I always listen to your stuff when I write, like all the time. It's kind of routine. Thanks for putting awesome/creepy music.
I think it's funny. There's a road my friends and I walked on for years and it's been closed down for decades. A lot of creepy things happened in the long stretch of woods around it. This song reminds me of that road, and the road reminds me of your music: Desolate, peaceful, and creepy
@SolidSnake3131 - wow that is so cool, thank you. Lately I have been having a hard time labeling my recent stuff, ambient or dark ambient or sad ambient or whathefuck ambient? I dunno, I think I am starting to blur the genres a bit more than I used too, some of the longer pieces have both dark and ambient vibes to them in varying degrees. Plus, the footage I am shooting is kind of taking me new places as well. Thanks for being here for a while, I really appreciate that.
@secludedmisfit - thank you very much. There is an extended version of this I think like 12 minutes? Got a bunch of tunes ready, enough to post an album to iTunes so I'll try to do it in the next week or so.
@keesvangelis - I was coming home and saw this. Wasn't sure how I would use the footage or even if I would, but just thought it looked so cool. Was around 5:00PM and I loved the visual. Thanks my friend.
This is wonderful, fascinating, amazing!!

Here comes an annoying question, what do you make your sounds from? like, sometimes i use my guitar and time stretch/reverb, stutter and all that.

I think that too many of us are like closed roads. It often happens to me as well, to be honest. Unfortunately we are only (or luckily) human beings.
