There studio music is perfectly polished. I searched around this morning watching videos of their live stuff, and it's just what I remember. The lead singer is like a karaoke hack when he's actually on stage.  He lacks vocal energy, so ALL of the parts that are powerful in their recordings come out as either off-key, or some random impromptu change-up that makes no artistic sense.

I don't care if you have some drunken nostalgia. Look around and then tell me I'm wrong.
