One of the best rock and roll bands around. Have had many opportunities to watch them live in the City (SF)and Santa Cruz,Ca. Have also had the pleasure in hosting them at my hotel many times while living in Santa Cruz and them playing at The Catalyst (backstage and all)...Looking forward to seeing them come December at Verizon in Manchester, NH with John Mellencamp
Hey, Keep It Quiet! We don't want to let the secret get out! If word gets out just how great this band is live, they may not be able to play the great smaller, intimate venues anymore! I love 'em at the Fillmore, but better yet is when they play a certain winery nearby! ALWAYS a great show! ILoveLosLobos
these cat's are thee best kept secret but they deserve such recognition.these guy's can freakin play and all you get from their shows is a great feeling these boy's on any given nite will blow your mind david can play that guitar one of the top ten of all time and i have seen many not to leave cesar out because he has wild skills as well.
los lobos - Ive seen them 15 times in all kinds of venues playing full band, earth shattering blues, rock, cumbia, polka , mariachi, you name it - consumate musicians and the best kept secret in rock and roll
that's right, and they have more integity than is imagineable. they gave up a gig playing the music awards because they had another regular gig already planned.
Hey lgrrpp- whatever it takes, run, don't walk, to the nearest venue you can find them at. These guys are the most amazing live band I've ever seen, and they get better each time. Saw them in Calgary in '04 at a community centre, they did a "dance party", and everyone was on their feet the whole time. You MUST see these guys. Sadly, I too have yet to see them do a whole show of their accoustic traditional stuff.
I saw LL in a small venue, Finney Chapel at Oberlin College...all 300 of us were on our feet from the start to the end when they closed with Bertha. One of the top five concerts I've ever seen...too bad this video is so weak. Good sound.
Well I saw LL in the East L.A. College auditorium and the entire concert was unplugged with less than 200 people. Awesome band. Sorry no video of that day.
These guys are just as great in person as they are playin out.

Los Lobos is really a great band. Never saw them in person.I'm jealous. Love to hear them play acoustic traditional Mexican music.
