So, to solve the heating issue, couldn't one just remove the bottom half of the case? Or is the front half's secure fit contingent on the bottom? I'm considering by this case. I really just want to cover up that damn glowing logo on the front.

@8bittrauma The heat issue is minor, but yeah, you could take off the bottom. I'm with you, I hate the logo.

@alyroxx2010 I don't know. To be safe I would opt for the 15 inch sleeve to make sure.

@ArelyBuzz I am going to guess no since the MacBook is rounded and the MacBook Pro is a little more angular. But, I could be wrong.
