I thought michael steele was very genuine in this debate except for the fact that medicare is not being saved in Paul Ryan's plan, but it is being changed completely. It it shifting medicare from a government insurance program to a government subsidized one to be used in the private market. That is not saving medicare, but turning it into medicaid. However, Michael Steele, i felt, came off sincere about his view that medicare is no longer sustainable at the current rate and needs to be altered
