This videoclip is more epic and meaningful than the other one (altough the other is also good). Despite the gorgeous videoclip I don't really like this version of the song , it doesn't really sound like Tarja's MAGIC voice. However here her styling is amazing! She looks like the spirt of Glory (Doksa as we say in Greece) that is told (usually in poems) to appear in battlefields to honor the valiant soldiers that died for their freedom. Makes me remember the greeks that fought for my freedom...

Tarja sang this song in two different ways, both amazing in my opinion.

There is the Oceanborn version (1999) and This version (2005). When it come to live she sings this version for exemple in "End of an Era" concert, and she sang lots of times more like in the original version (I posted some live performances of this song).

Doch, es singt Tarja. Die Tonqualität mag aber nicht das beste sein, es klingt ein bisschen matt...die höhere frequenzen fehlen.

nightwish hat ja mittlerweile eine neue Sängerin und ich dachte mir, daß hier bei dieser zweiten Songversion die neue Sängerin Anette Olzon zu hören sei, aber mit altem Videomaterial...diese Stimme klingt mir aber wirklich viel zu hell, im Gegensatz zu Tarjas Stimme!

Danke für deinen Hinweis, aber ich kann mir immer noch nicht vorstellen, daß dies wirklich Tarja ist! Was macht dich so sicher, daß es sie wirklich ist?

es ist tarja hör dir mal sleeping sun live bei end of an era an dann weist dus hört sich genauso an und anette singt ganz ganz ganz anderst als tarja auch wenn der klang hier net der beste ist

Tarja hat eine gebildete, volle Stimme, singt wie eine Opernsängerin, ihre Singart, Tonlage, Stimme ist typisch, nicht mal mit anderen - sogar nicht mit der von Anette - zu verwechseln. Ihre Stimme passte fantastisch zu diesem Gothic-Rock Stil...Schade für Tarja, aber ebenso Schade für Nightwish, dass sie ausscheiden musste...Wie Ice222 schrieb: ohne sie wird es nie wieder das selbe sein.

Jetzt, da Tarja nicht bei bei Nightwish singt, fehlt mir etwas...Anette ist wirklich kein Ersatz!

Zum Glück wandelt sie auf Solopfaden...so kommen die Fans auch weiterhin auf ihre Kosten!
