Currently im playing Spyro: The Dragon, then im gonna play 2 and Year of the dragon... In my opinion on these games.. I dont care. Spyro has grown up, and also i lov wthese game more then the first (even thought i havent played them) im just playing the first series of games to know the story, because the game i really want to play is Dawn of The Dragon. So in my opinion, these games are the same to me, because if Spyro comes out, then the game is fine with me.

Spyro on PS are legendary but though i thought they were gonna suck until i played it. It's actually a very fun/difficult of course its not as good as the first ones but good.

I've played the original series and this series is 95% better.

Honestly, TLOS picks up in everything where the originals lack.

Which is storyline, graphics, and gameplay.

The old ones were mind-numbing collecting and stupid mini-games.

The PS1 Spyros were amazing, I remember playing them as a kid (mainly the first one) all the time. Just hearing the PS1 Spyro music brings me back. All the other Spyros after Insomaniac gave him away just suck. They suck so much...

I just rented this game... it was absolutely terrible.

The gameplay is a LOT of fun, don't get me wrong. But the mobs are so overpowered it's not even funny. And everytime you die you have to face the same mob AGAIN and AGAIN.

It's aggravating. Spyro 1,2,3 and 5 were fantastic. As for the others, forget it.

The only issue I have with playing as Cynder is the fear of her getting more spotlight than Spyro. And in my opinion, a co-op just doesn't suit the series. But I'll see.

I Remember the REALLY old Spyro games....you know...1, 2, and 3, of the PS1. I hated the modern ones, until they made a New Begining! Now, It's a Fantasy/ RPG in my Book, one of the Top list games! ^-^

I agree, the old ones were the best. The PS2 ones were generally not very good, although Hero's Tail wasn't bad. Enter the Dragonfly, on the other hand, was horrible.  I was very happy with New Begining, my only complaint was that it was VERY repetitive.

I liked the old spyro games when even after you beat the last boss and complete the game, you could still go back and defeat them over and over how ever long you'd like. In these games once to defeat the boss you have to start all over again from scratch!

I think Legend of Spyro is WAY better the old ones. Old ones were always "collect THIS MANY of THAT to get HERE" and the bad guys were so predictable. Not to mention the crazyness of the old games got nerve-grinding.

It takes way too long to take out a mob of enemies if you have to fight every individual painfully slow. It makes the gameplay boring and repetitive.

One hit kills would be much more satisfying and you would move on to other levels more quickly.
