@relion65 over the last 16 years, 8 non QBs have won Super Bowl MVP, the last being two years ago when Steelers WR Santonio Holmes. Of the 8 non QBs, 3 have been on defense, the rest WRs or RBs. The regular season MVP is almost always a QB, the last non QB to win there was in 2005 and 2006 when Shaun Alexander and LaDainian Tomlinson won in back to back years. The last time a non QB or RB won regular season MVP was in 1986 when Lawrence Taylor won.
