Well u should get a t mobile samsung galaxy 4g. It has this thing called "wifi calling" and using your phone's plan. This very helpful in hospitals and around the world.

wow this is great that I came a cross this video, I recently switch to sprint from t-mobile after 7 years when I saw a special deal on 2 HTC EVO Shift and 2 Samsung Transform with 1500min unlimited nights and weekend unlimited video chat on the 2 Samsung's unlimited data, web, free any carrier mobile to mobile among other thing for $169.00 + tax & stuff a month my kids were excited

I just hooked it up today! I had it as soon as it came out, But ti was the firste gen samsung airave, NO EVDO..... so no data, then the airvana came out and they sent it to me for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! BUTT there was a 30 day back order :( but its here it works, IM GOOD!

Sprint said that they were going to check the towers see if everything is OK, wso hich is a lie cause I still have bad reception. Again thank you so much, I never knew they had something like this.

By the way, I live in a "semi rural" area in Northeast Indiana. There is no wireless connection out here. However, my Android through T-Mobile always ran like a champ! Go figure. I'm really mad, because I can't even enjoy my new phone in my home. Not being able to use my cell phone is my home is a major dealbreaker.

Thanks for this video. I am reeling right now. I've also had T-Mobile for 8 years, NEVER have had a problem with my Android phone through them. Today I joined Sprint and got the HTC Evo. Not one friggin bar. Dropped calls. If I can't get the Airwave (for free), I'm cancelling. It's unfortunate, because I love the phone. The salesguys today were laughing about T-Mobile having bad reception. They need to think again! I NEVER had this happen to me before. Thanks for your suggestions!

Why do Sprint phones always have...um....so many bars implimented into the software of their phones? My friend used to have the Hero and it had like 8 bars you can get, but she always had about 3. Is it because Sprint gets bad coverage in some areas so it makes you seem like you have more bars, or just what they like to impliment into the software?

Had the same thing and returned it... It did work extending my range and giving great 3g speeds... BUT every phone call I made I had an delay and it got worse and worse the longer the call went on. So bad I couldn't even talk. Tried resetting it a few times but nothing worked.

FYI-You do NOT have the Sprint Airave. You have the Airvana. It says it right on it. It's the newer better version that has a wider distance range and GPS for 911 (which the first model did not have). Good video, and good tips nevertheless =)

You are the best! Your Video's help me get the Evo with the Novatech (SP) screen and now maybe all bars. I only get 1 in my Condo. SO I hope the Airwave works for me also. I called and Sprint is sending one out for Free today. If T-Mobile had offered this I would have stayed with them, I got NO bars with T-Mobile and yes, I know how to hold my phones. She can get out of her contract for no coverage in her home. I sent you a detailed msg from your page telling how. If anyone else would like to know send me a msg and I will glad to help. I still had over a year on my contract and did not have to pay a fee to drop them. You will have to take pics of the phone showing little to no bars and a couple trips to the T-Mobile store but it will get you out of the contract.

I was in the same situation as you...

The street I live on has horrible coverage with all carriers, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T. About 3 months ago I called Sprint support and they shipped me the Sprint Airave for free. Unfortunately I couldn't get them to waive the $5 a month charge. But it has been worth it, because I went from 1 bar to full bars and couldn't be happier!
