Worst turbo lag I've ever seen. Took about 5 seconds for the turbos to spool up once full throttle was given. What kind of shit is this?

@beeroosterm I think you'll find that they were doing this to slowly to spool the turbos so that when they did the power run, They could safely see where the A/F ratio was prior to getting on it. This engine would be unbelievably responsive due to it's large displacement, and cylinder configuration. It looks this shit is of the variety that you dont really understand

@vrednie Since you are playing guessing games yourself, I wouldn't presume to state that I don't really understand what is occurring here. If you observe the time it took for the turbos to spool up after the throttle plate was fully opened, you will see the phenomenon I was alluding to. The motor spooled up quickly to a point when the throttle was lightly cracked, but when quickly opened fully from that point, it took 6 seconds for the turbos to spool fully. Explain how this isn't massive lag.

@TheArfdog thing is that european cars dont need as much displacement or horsepower to beat your american crap cars! we dont need 8000cc engines to have lausy 500hp we have most eficient engines. like this bmw m5 stock has 5000cc and 500hp, or better audi s3 2liter engine with something like 265hp... and more... they can do curves... not only straights... get better engeniers!

@ivanrocha84 Except a Corvette ZR1 is lighter and faster than a 911 turbo. The Z06 engine is lighter and more powerful than the M5. Looks like your thin argument just broke down. Furthermore, a larger displacement engine is inherently lighter because it is mostly air, and is more efficient because it runs lower RPM which means lower hydrodynamic friction, has a smaller surface area within each cylinder so less heat is wasted, and is less complex in the case of the LS7.
