    the answer to your query was too long for this comment section, i was asking where you were from, etc. etc. to try to get some idea of how to answer you in an appropriate manner. all had to be deleted to make it fit in. i was trying to put 'dulse' (an edible seeweed) instead, but i thought "yellow man' would be more understood around the world.

  • hi paul461, briefly, yellow man is a northern ireland confectionary, famously sold at 'the old lammas fair' which is a horse trading/general sort of outdoor event with market stalls and traffic jams,held in ballycastle every august, and yellow man is a block of sort of hard bubbly chrunchie looking sort of thing (without the chocolate)but really rock hard, you break bits off and eat it.

    and that's basically it, a hard yellow sweet thing that you eat if you go to ballycastle.
