I saw your comment on David Archuleta's Page. I noticed something that you and David both need to work on. The consonants at the end of the words need to be heard. Accomplish this and you can get way ahead of the game. You are singing like you don't want the person in the next room to wake up. Project from the gut and don't put too much strain on your throat. Also try different ranges and find the one right for you. Singing in your range will make a huge difference.
