  • youngblood brassband dude?

  • For those wondering how it's done, you can do it by essentially humming while you play the instrument normally. That's how you can get two tones out of the instrument at the same time.

For those discussing the clarity of sound, I'm afraid to say that the technique itself does not lend to a clear tone very easily, especially in performance.

I can do this, but since I prefer beautiful, clear tones, I do not really like the technique.

  • dude how does he do that?

  • @thedundy69 very easy. Blow air and hum at the same time... after that just put the buzz in. I've found this is the easiest way to teach people. I found out how to do it back in the 7th grade and have been teaching people how to do it ever since

  • (o) (o) * drops ipod *.

  • That's quite a performance

  • YES i saw this guy do this at my middle school years ago!!!!!!!!! Dallas Brass!!

  • @OFortuna3 If I pull your girlfriend's clothes apart she becomes really easy.

  • i just had the biggest band-gasm ever

  • Oh God, This song would be awesome even without the beatboxing.

  • FUCK YA!!!!!!!!!

i am a sousaphone and tuba player :D beat box too. not this good but this gave me some inspiration!!

  • i do my real account is 619619fan

  • I bet he gets pussy!

  • @beaglemanzzz well fuck you to!!

  • @jwmorgan1880

I'm assuming you play tuba, so do I. From one tuba player to another I am saying no sousaphonme can get as good of a tone quality as a concert tuba or contra.

  • @beaglemanzzz I couldn't have said it any better. Sousaphones seem to (in my opinion/experience playing tuba) have that marching band "blasty sound" that comes from playing loud with a disregard to tone quality.

  • @TQYULEEERN

    Yes, exactly what I think.

  • @beaglemanzzz well duh, but they both have their own benefits cause i play tuba in marching band and have marched with both sousaphones and contras. i like them both, but sousaphone is meant to be easier. contras are for the players who like a challenge. my high school has contras instead of sousaphones but contras just seem right for our school and not sousaphones, they just do. but i love playing a sousaphone whenever i can :D

  • @bloodvein3

Sousaphones are fun just to screw around on. There aren't very many tubas you can wear. :P

  • @beaglemanzzz true that tuba brother

  • @bloodvein3 lol contras aren't for players who like a challenge. They just work better in terms of visuals and such. That's why drum corps use em. Not for the challenge but simply because they're flashier when it comes down to doing any type of visual because you can't do much with something around your body.

  • @VortShammy well, you beat me there xD i love playing both of them though, so yea...

  • @VortShammy Drum Corps use contras because they were originally bugles. Sousaphones are not bugles. Flashy is just a bonus.

  • omg thats insane

  • 31 people fell into his bell

  • 100 comentarios debuiooooooooo...

  • @supersuperguy111 yes, i do

  • Skillz.

  • @supersuperguy111 i do. i marched it last year plan on doing it again next year and i plan on playing it professionally alongside my trumpet and baritone :)

  • DAMN that guy is GETTIN IT, SON!!!!! XD FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

  • bummer that he's copying from Youngblood Brass Band's tuba - only at about half speed...

  • @DavenLu He is the youngblood brass band's tuba. Well, was. But yeah, you are correct in that he is copying from himself.
