You could / should have credited the other tenor since this is essentially a duet: It is Paul Austin Kelly in the role of Pilade who,r the following year took over the role of Oreste in the Glyndebourne revival and, unfortunately was nowhere near as good as Bruce Ford. On the other hand, Paul Nilon, who in '95 sang the role of ATTALO took over the role of PIRRO in the revival and was a sensation! Better, more solid singer than Jorge Lopez-Yanez . IMO
Wonderfully intense performance, he definitly beats Florez in this aria, and has a much better voice than Merritt (though Merritt is still an excellent Oreste). I especially liked the fact that he doesn't overornament the repeat of the cabaletta :-)! Thank you so much for posting this :-)!
