No sadly you can not use GameCube controls. I don't have the first Battalion Wars game. But I do have the second. I will hopefully buy this game soon though.

After renting this game from BlockBuster Video sevral times, and deleting the memorie, Because I thought that I would never get the game again, Then I bought it from game stop....The next day the Batalion Wars 2 game came out...And I was angry, So I am still trying to beet Mission 13

I've never played 2, so I can't say. I wouldn't worry about it though, the story isn't really the game's strong point.

Actually, driving in a circle is very effective if you plan on moving out of the way of enemy tank fire, it's a good thing to do if you want to beat a Heavy Tank with a Light Tank.

It's the way I beat Titans of Tundra the first time I beat it, lol. I had only 1 tank and 2 missile veterans. What do I do? I strafe the hell out of the last 2 Heavy Tanks and own them.

There are four Bonus Missions that allow you to play the role of an army other than the Western Frontier. And no, you don't have to get S on the other Missions. Each Bonus Mission has a set percentage you need to aquire.

Tundrans are Soviets, Xylvannia are Gremans (before WW1), Western Frontior are U.S, and Solar Empire are Japnese.

fascinating, however, that they are creating a pseudo-world war where Japanese and Americans are actually allies, and where the germans have the only ugly role and the ONLY responsability. Oh year, everything is so good when you have a nation which can always be the bad one and blamed for everything...

Soviets are nice, japanese are nice, and just because germans where the most evil, they now take it ALL.

Why should I be scared? German military foces have never set foot on our soil. However, I doubt that your losing-spree is recorded in history books. Better than most. However, Britain invented the jet engine, then cannon, and the nuclear bomb. Plus, the Spitfire owns. Germany come second.

better idea- follow the lake around so you get to the bazooka vets with everything and hit the heavy tanks from the left flank. done right, its a 96+ S rank (4 or more points lost from speed)

Well, they did do it for Command & Conquer.

at that beggining part(for fun) i put my tanks behind that hill and swap to a grunt and get the two tank's attention, then run back over the hill to get the tanks into an ambush. oh yeah and that castle thing ahead i put two heavy tanks inside and one on the left side to take out their 'mobile infantry'. (P.S then again...looks like it ur first time.)

Don't really remember... The Red army's is a little more manueverable, but has less fire power I think. Has one less machine gun in favor of a flame thrower too. I'm a sucker for hard hitters, so I probably like the Green Army's better.
