I would put bite on Mightyena over crunch. You know, for a chance of flinch. Plus, he gets STAB, so it's not a TON weaker. An added, Mightyena's poisoned, so it can't take a huge amount of damage. But, it's your team. All creative control goes to you. =D
Hmmm... The flinch chance seems appealing, but the power drop is kind of concerning. I'm pretty sure that Crunch will OHKO a Gengar. Will Bite do that?
Sucker Punch only works when your opponent is using an attacking move. Otherwise, it fails. Toxic Orb already boosts my speed, so there's no reason to make things more difficult by adding prediction into the equation. You realize that Mightyena outspeeds base 125's (which is Weavile's speed group) after Quick Feet is factored in? Sucker Punch would be better on certain occasions like Trick Room or... Mewtwo, but worse on every other occasion, so it's too over-specified.
Oh yeah, it took me some time to remember that Mightyena's Quick Feet canceled out Farfetch'd's Salac Berry boost.
I wanted to train a special Honchkrow just to repeatedly see its machine gun animation when it attacks...but it looks like MarinaNeon2 beat me to it, so I'll watch hers instead.
From what I'm aware of for both Pokémon, Murkrow has better speed, while Honchkrow has better HP, Attack, and Special Attack. This is somewhat similar as to why one could have both Scyther and Scizor on the same team.
Scyther and Scizor both have the same exact stat totals, but Scyther's base Speed Stat is 40 points greater than Scizor's, while Scizor's base Attack and Defense Stats are each 20 points greater than Scyther's.
Farfetch'd w00t w0000t, been my favourite since the first season of the cartoon, and red and blue

Is it just me, or does everything seem fatter or skinnier in this video. Don't forget flatter too...

what does trick room do? I've seen it a lot but doesn't really understand what it means? twisting dimensions sounds crazy..
DeSoLaToR22 3 years ago
Slower Pokemon are faster, and faster Pokemon are slower for 5 turns. It basically reverses the order of attacks.
SimChao 3 years ago
Unless the pokemon knows priority move. Quick Attack, Bullet Punch...and many more...

Awesome battle. Only one question though, why does your Rotom have discharge instead of thunderbolt?

Hey, great battle.

AWW! I was watching your Mightyena... and I was wondering why you didn't use Me First to kill Slowking or something.
PearledWaveS 4 years ago
Me First doesn't get priority like Quick Attack and friends. No matter what I did, I was going to die that turn. XD
SimChao 4 years ago
OH... I thought for all that time that it did... Doesn't it make sense? It's not Me Second...
PearledWaveS 4 years ago
Haha. Well, the Japanese name is Anticipate... maybe that's why. :p
SimChao 4 years ago
Its meant for fast or decently fast pokemon like mewtwo, mew, and your mightyena.

Gateway Colosseum music has to be one of my favorite colosseums in the game, and nice comeback at the end.

That makes sense. I don't know about the Scyther/Scizor thing though since both of them come with a X4 weakness.
