I don't hear the "Hawaiian" style. I hear the vocalist's pure, emotional singing. I hear the tender piano accompaniment (with a hint of synthesizer). But, what is "Hawaiian" about that? Many styles of music have these features. I was expecting to hear some exotic instrumentation.

First time that I heard this song was in 1999. My sister and visited hawaii and I heard this song playing in a story. I had to have a copy of this CD. We went all over the island until I found a street vendor that carried this CD.
