I dont get why they do their songs in english cause theyre mostly just in scandinavia and germany

melody club happens to tour in the uk and the states regularly. That and the fact that english is the universal language is the reason why they write their songs in english. Bands who write and perforn in english have a bigger chance of crossing over to other territories and getting their music heard and appreicated. simple enough...

im not sure who that question was directed to, where i live, but if you must know i live in canada. and there are examples of bands who have had lts of succes singing in their native tongue, such as tokyo hotel from germany

I have yet to try and work out the entire bass line.

if you have patience don't let someone tell you how it's played, try your best to pick it up by ear, you might have heard this before but the more you figure out tracks just by ear you will become a better musician. And as you are trying to work out exactly what you are hearing your brain will make new neurological connections that will be beneficial to you as a musician.
