I wouldnt consider my hair thick. I have straight/slightly wavy hair naturally. But somehow when i try this, it wouldnt work. I've tried holding the iron for 15-20 seconds, but my hair would not stay curly for long. Any advice?

@VyisMe The best trick to get curl or straight hair for long is to blowdry your hair with a brush and the blowdryer instead of blowdrying very quickly, I know it's kinda long to do but the curls can stay for 2-3 days,sometimes more, so at the end, it's not that long, Also, it's really important to use good products,when they are wet,put some mouse, before curling use a thermal protection that also fix hair with heat contact, and at each layers hairspray, Good luck :) <3

Your curls look so pretty and the back spot on. I must say your tutorial really helped me out in deciding what size curling iron I want to buy. I'm going to go with a 1 1/4. You actually use the clamp, showing an actual curl must people just wrap the hair around the barrel to make waves which is not very helpful when you have naturally curly biracial hair, cause you can curl it without straightening it.
