American Engineering at its best! Leave it to the American's to make a freaking engine that doesn't shift when it is supposed to! The Tach went up into the danger zone and actually stayed there for quite a bit! My dad has always been loyal to Japanese cars, but he decided to give the American's 1 last chance... and he went out and bought a Dodge (huge mistake), and it wouldn't shift! He would have to turn the car off and turn it back on for it to shift again! He then traded 09 Dodge for 09 Max.

ur a frickin idiot, the transmission was in manual mode so i won't shift until the driver tells it to. and btw dodge sucks but whats wrong with gm and ford? and wasn't fagota the company having the problems with transmissions on their 3.5L V6 in the camry and avalon? oh yea, don't forget about the crankshaft snapping problem on 5.7L V8 tundras. and also, honda had huge transmission problems on 99-04 odyssey, accord, acura tl, mdx, pilot, basically anything with the V6 in it.
