How did you get the view from the front? From what I know, there's an opaque door separating the cab and the passenger seats on CRH2Cs. Do you have special connections?

@NYLifeInNJ There is view seats on some trains. Plus free coffee can.

Although French high speed trains seem a lot quieter

@evantis121 probably because TGV has locomotive in front, but shinkansen cars are motorcars.
