The seven Piper's version is better, this is nice but to slow and that bloody Jemba Drum thing get's on your nerves. The Seven pipers sound like the Bullet train to Hell!! they grab this tune buy the Balls.Frankfurt just gently massage it :O)
A lot better haha. I was messing up bunch at the fest cus I wasn't used to your reeds. They were really easy. Two of the drones shut off. I thought he started a different tune in the first half. I stopped, then found out he repeated it! Had to strike in again.
yeah, i do play pretty easy reeds...i see no point in playing hard ones. but oh well. It was still cool to find a random piper in the audience, especially a young one!
Ya, I learned my first 10 or so tunes with it. I tune my practice chanter with it too. What kind of pipes do you have? They were pretty cool. My set of McCallums came in on Mardi Gras, before that I was playing an old set of pipes that no one knew what kind they were. They didn't work well.
The tune was written by Mary-Anne McKinnon. This is a much better version than the last ClanPipers' version I saw/heard on YouTube. But I'm still worried about the rhythmic accompaniment! Why not keep it to side, tenor and bass and leave out the crap that brings visions of a banana-boat to mind and not a steam-train? - equally, that medium of transport should be on its way "...to Mallaig" and NOT "Tobago"!
simplythebescht, thank you so much for sharing your concern about this video. I'm sure your opinion means so much to these people. Maybe, just maybe, their wildest dreams will come true and they'll be able to make you happy.
Good tempo an overall tune although in the intro the soloist had a few crossing noises if not that then slightly out doublings :/ but still 5/5

Really Good. I feel sorry for the guy whose pipes didn't start. We play the solo different-faster, and with wavering notes

Your band's music is really good; it's on my ipod. Have you heard of the computer program called bagpipe player?
