i went through the sewers and forgot to get the steal materia

how do i get back? please help.

@moltrespheonix Start the game over again. Certain Materia and items are a one-chance, one-time get only. So you have to follow a walkthrough guide so you don't miss anything or keep a backup save file a couple hours behind your main save.

your stats have nothin' to do with how wellyou steal, my characters stats are all 255 and tey steal at the same rate as if i we're stil th beginning of the game, you need accessory sneak glove for better steal rate

@Ladybutterfly874 I thought it was both the glove and the level of a character that plays a part in the stealing formula.

I just got this game for the psp...and i have a newfound love for it. Having it for a handheld made a difference for me since my father hogs the tv all the time when I played it years ago. He still hogs the tv now, so having it for psp made my day.

It's better to let Cloud steal it. At this point he's got the highest level and the higher a characters level is, the more guaranteed successful steals are.

I wasn't aware of that but it makes sense to me. That information slipped my mind from awhile back and for some reason I thought dexterity might play a part.

I remember messing around with gameshark and put aeris in my party. Did you know that even though she would never normally be able to use it, she has a unique fighting animation for 4x cut?
