Viacom is very strict on what it allows on YouTube...it wouldn't surprise me that they wanted the video taken down...
at the same time...it's not surprising that other groups might try to claim it was Viacom to censor the video....I don't have all of the information needed...so who knows.

I find Thunderf00t's analysis on this subject a bit too simplistic. No one is going to argue that this attack was at the hands of religious extremists. But to single out religion entirely is just ignorant. Look at what happened with the Soviet Union where religion was being surpressed: people were still being persecuted, tortured, etc. It's okay to be atheist, but we're not machines; our thought processes, feelings, etc, are much more complicated than what Thunderf00t is stating.

Even if Viacom did file a DMCA notice, I believe the video falls under the Fair Use clause because it's a criticism of Viacom and the material is used without profit.

Something to keep in mind is the recent issue the ACA has had regarding The Atheist Experience and DMCAs. Apparently people have filed illegitimate DMCAs on their behalf. I suspect that may be the case here w/ tf00t. Hopefully all gets resolved, as is usually the case.
