this app is only reliable when the phone is lost and not stolen, because the sim card will obviously be replaced, which leads to a dead end. I've seen better apps like cylay and iprotect.

As of today, this feature is also available on all iPhones running firmware 2.1.0 and up (including the iPhone 3G).
