It would be extremely difficult to raise eggs like you do with cichlids in a 3 G jar or something. pLus first spawns are not also succesful.

You have to let them eat them the parent will pick out the dead eggs

Parents do pick out the dead ones but will also eat the live ones meaning they eat them all. Some fish eat them but some fish wait until their born and eat the fry. This is what happens in the wild
