How to Use Twitter

What drives me a little more crazy than I already am are those people who use Twitter like a cell phone (shorthanding things like "u" for "you" and "b/c" for "because" if there are at least 40 characters remaining). I still follow them, however. I like to think of my Twitter account as yet another enjoyable experiment in social psychology. You get to learn all kinds of things about a sampling of the population such as how many people think half naked profile pics in a bathroom mirror is cool.

I'm kinda on the fence with the ghetto trending topics like #youneedanupgrade or #shestooyoungforyoubro. They are stupid but theory are a great way to share jokes and such.

here it is: Fuck twitter! there's Facebook, much simpler. there is nothing that twitter has that Facebook doesn't do better. end of story.

I hate following somebody because I see one funny tweet then 90% of my page is filled with "Follow this person their so funny" ....and then besides the annoyance you follow them anyway and their doing the same thing "Follow this person..etc" pisses me off

The non official retweeting is not manual and is an artifact of using terrible mobile twitter apps which automatically do this when you retweet something.

i use twitter generally to follow my fav sports stars and youtube directors. i rarely twit myself though has i dont know anyone personally that uses twitter for anything. i prefer to go onto forums about anything and splerg my thoughts there.

I use my twitter for either random thoughts, quotes, or mental things. I use Facebook for more coherent thoughts, conversations, videos, and I use tumblr mainly for art/creativity. Funny thing is I have my tumblr and twitter connected to my Facebook, so it doesn't really make sense does it?

I follow a ton of app developers for android & ios & they always tweet stuff like "my finger is bleeding" - then they tweet their new app in the app store or in the market... followed by taking a sh*t brb. I think it's fine. It doesn't bother me. People are just showing that they're just people. Nothing wrong with being human while promoting your business. To me at least.
