  • I would LOVE to see you/all of you redo this one in a better environment! (Studio or something)

  • @zidanewaterflower Voila!

    watch?v=pgSxHyhBZ-k

  • @daniscool99 ^^; Something isn't working.... Is that the whole link, or did part of it get cut off? (Or is my computer just being weird?)

  • Brodie actually sounds un-human. it's so fucking unreal. Awesome:)

  • Cool showing up the cast of West Side Story! Haha, it was amazing, and I'm not surprised! :)

  • AMAZING!!!

  • frickin astounding

  • This is very good. Did you arrange that yourself? Can I have a copy of this song's score?

  • nice transition for the post switch guys!

  • Did you all write this yourselves based on the acoustix video? I cant find a written form of it anywhere.

  • humber res what!!! and i miss calvin's hair

  • Hi Danny, your work is really amazing... i wish i could find someone in Italy to sing such songs! I used to sing in a quartet, but mostly renaissance music. Where can i find those scores you sing, along with your friends?

  • the blend is sick! also this one of my favorite songs, did you transcribe this one? either way it sounds great.

  • This was the first song Danny and I transcribed.

  • Really well done tag, awesome performance. Hope to see more from this quartet.

  • I like the lock on "to" at 2:05

  • @Doctors2Advocate i was going to say the exact same thing

  • this is amazing! i remember my friend making me watch the movie, you make the song sound amazing!

ive been looking for the tag, but i only found part of it... is there anywhere i can find it?

    great job!!

  • Incredible...just incredible. So much talent! I can't wait to see how far you guys go.

  • that post is crazy at the end. love it!

  • yep, great post!

  • man! I was comparing u with the acoustix quartet. UR almost there! keep it up guys!

  • WOW! This is really cool. Keep it up guys!

Show the kids they also have talents like u.

  • O.O wow

  • i favorited like ALL of your videos lol.

    i love them so much!

  • Thanks ^^ !

  • ooh okay =)

  • waouh you rock ! ilove it !!

Can you sing Beautiful girl by sean kingston ? =D

  • already did lol. It's it a ton of autotune and actually my friend Brodie is doing the lead vocals and I am doing backups. But pm and i'll send you an mp3 or something lol. We did it purely as a joke though. Like 1 take through each part, and only because we wanted to try out autotune. I am not really a fan of that kind of music myself :P

  • Can you email me that recording? I'm curious, haha. :)

  • Email you what? the audio from it? What for?

  • Beautiful girl. Shaun Kingston. Autotune.

  • Oh haha yeah.. sure lol. Pm me your email address. Where did I write that we did it.. I know I did somewhere

  • Dude, this is fucking tight.

  • you guys are awesome. sweeeeet ringing chords!

  • i LOVE that octave overtone on the post...dear God.

  • i´m from germany

    i´m surprised

    oh my godness

youre sooooooooo good and sweet too

    smile

    big kiss

  • haha, ja. sie sind prima! ich liebe das leid ,,Let's Get Started."

  • diggin the double slide before the tag sweetness!!

  • awesome guys!!! sounds great!

And also, I think it's hilarious that you tagged this video with "fineyleee" hahaha

  • It's because I love you Simon!

  • Actually its because I transcribed this arrangement from your multitrack album.

  • Lead is good.

  • hands down the best quartet name i have ever seen...sounded great too!

  • serenade me..lol. no really.

    love it!!!

  • You are all so great - especially Brodie, IMHO!

But @Andrew: Why didn't you do the Ab post at the end?

  • Because everyone knows piano players can't post Ab haha.

Actually for the benefit of the group and the benefit of mankind's ears, we decided it would be best for Brodie to post seeing as he's just so good at it. Besides, I'm the master at locking in the fifths.

  • Well gee when you put it that way you sound like a baritone or something. haha

  • You guys are good. Check out Vocal Spectrum's version. It's flawless.

  • Two words: good good

  • loved it loved it loved it :D

  • This is the best cover for this song I've heard so far! Incredible job guys!

  • Excellent job! On a side note, I will never understand how people can own an arrangement. Yes, you moved some notes around on paper, so what - so if I change one note is that enough, how about two? Let's just share the music, sing the music and appreciate the music - give credit where it's due, but come on... :)

  • We aren't competing with this song.

  • Well nicely done anyway!

  • Nice post at the end for the bari woot woot!

  • lol it was a post throw from tenor to lead :)

  • Haha oh i knew it was a post throw but i thought the guy was the bari!

  • ha, I WISH!

  • That is some tenor! You guys have a great sound. Keep it up!

Do try and hit up some venues that don't involve stair wells though :-P

  • good job fellas!! just get that wall of sound going and youll have it down!

  • Good job guys! The sound was fine and the harmony awesome.

  • i think you guys did a very nice job! i love that tag!

  • Where can i get hold of the "Sheet music" for this???

If anyone has any idea please say! Im desperate lol

  • awesome guys. keep it up.

  • West Side Story. Good arrangement, and good sound. Weird environment though, but I guess the acoustics are fine for Youtube purposes.

  • Nice post/post trade.

  • Awesome Bass and Bari. Tenor and lead certainly had their moments aswell. I'd love to hear it in an open space because it is distorted in the video from the reverb of the staircase. I'm certainly a fan, check out JAG's version of this... it's the ultimate 'what NOT to do' for your bari. You guys are class... keep it up.

  • your comments never cease to suprise me mybungas.

  • What fun. This was what I wanted to do at college. I never found the singing mates so it didn't happen. Keep it up! Ya'll sound good and are having fun.

  • damn man, great on tenor!

  • Awesome job on the tag-those slides were hella nice

  • thank you :)

  • Hey I just realized if you sing the baritone on top on this video, at 2:04 you bring out a few less worked overtones in those slides! get that baritone of yours out of some of those chords!

  • I don't think I follow... What do I do? sing out? stop singing? make a sandwich? All of the above?

  • Well, first off:

making Me a sandwich would be an A+ effort, and a great idea lol. Alternatively, I didn't notice anything standing out through most of the song up until that late parts of the tag. It was still really good, and all in pitch, and so it's just in the blend I'm thinking. It simply feels like the vowel on the second last 'tonight' is opened a little less than Danny, and your lead, Brodie when they take the G/post.

  • the C on bari can create an overtone over the octave with that G that'll blast through the roof on those 2 chords before the last. I did notice the nice locking that was there indeed, which is more than I can say for my own singing.

anyways, I hope I didn't piss anyone off, cause I'm terrible at punching on the internet. Kesler-keep the multitracks coming, you better not stop at "cry" like so many before you

and don't think I'll forget about that sammich any time soon..

  • Awesome! Thanks for the advice. I know our vowels in that song (particularly mine) weren't really locking up so well. tone and blend are the biggest things i need to work on right now. Feel free to let me know on things I can improve. Being a jazz piano major leaves me only so much time for singing, but I'm striving to better myself. And yes, more multitracks tags and full songs are on the way.

I ended up getting a wrap instead of a sandwich. Grilled chicken!

  • awesome but id love ot hear the base on the "slowly" chord. he didn't seem to hit that =]

you and brodie stick together and its good. you two click very well.

  • really great job guys

  • Thanks man, I appreciate it.

  • Yes, please. that would be very helpful.

  • where did you get the music? and if its possible, could i borrow it?

  • The baritone Andrew, and I transcribed this piece. I can send you our transcription if you would like.

  • I'd love a transcription too please!

  • Email address?

  • Great post! You guys sound great. Keep working on the tone of your voices and your performance and you guys will really do well.

  • That post switch was sex. Awesome job.

  • You are sex. And thank you :).

  • For real - if you are ever in the Virginia area, let me know and we'll find a stairwell or something ;) - Great job guys. You kept my interest throughout - not just the tag.

  • Well We'd love to... but we all live in Canada :). But if we are we know who to message on youtube haha.

  • very impressive !!

the end is a little different but

    very good yet ^^

  • Awesome guys! It makes me want to have a quartet again. I shall have to whip my singing friends into shape and start something.

  • Alot of potential guys!

    Constructive:

Work on your vowels as a group, some are aittle awkward. Like your Ahh's and Aaa's

Also, work on folowing eachother instead of directing with your hands.

Move a bit, not just moving your hands but show the song with your body.

    Great Job Though!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you kindly!

  • Sweet!

  • Awesome....!!!!
