  • he looks for the dogs already

  • kitsch

  • im so sorry for what ive done...i dnt mean to but you hurt me a lot throgh,i felt guilty but i have nothing to say except sorry

  • The best Peter Cetera !

  • That musical number had to have been a little bit of a challenge for the skaters, moving from the slow tempo of "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" to the mid-tempo of "Get Away."

  • canta excelente...y patinan un genialidad!!!

  • I believe the woman with the short dark hair is Peter's daughter, Claire? Am I right with this?

  • @gmwforce1972 Yes

  • im gonna see him on feb 28

  • song recommended for the crisis

  • their skating is timing with the song!!! free cheers for peter cetera!!!!!! hooray!!!

  • This was beautiful, watching skaters skate to this song and listening to it being sung! Bravo Peter Cetera, bravo, your songs will always remain a wonderful part of all the music I loved so much as a teenager and now as an adult!

  • Best of The Best!!! :D

  • Yes. If he got back together with Chicago I would pay top dollar to see that show! I wouldn't pay to see them otherwise.

  • @philcrasher

Likewise, I wouldn't pay to see Cetera doing a solo concert of his boring non-stop ballad post-Chicago oeuvre.

  • @WrestlingHeretic I actually saw Peter live a few weeks ago and I will say you are definitely missing out. He has a great show and doesn't just do ballads. He did an awesome version of Stay the Night that blew me away!

  • He sang this song in a lower key.

  • @pkim07

    They all do. People age.

  • amo essa musica, me lembra o ensino médio la em NATALRN, quanta saudade

  • obviously the years have been kind to Peter Cetera, his voice is still to die for!

  • What a fantastic show!

  • happy christmas Peter

  • Siempre te amare mi borikuita bella..

  • Te amo crrr eres mi gran amor..

  • Amazing to be able to sing so well at 65!!!

  • Wonderful!!! Wonderful!! It makes me cry!!! Too good!!!!!!!!

  • I believe this song sounds better in this key anyway. No one can do this song like PC!

  • Wowow, skating is so beautiful !! And song is so beatiful, too !!The orchestra sounds si great !!Thank you for up-load !!

  • Now that's entertainment.

  • esta cancion es icono de una epoca de grandes grupos e interpretes/this song is icone of bigs groups and singers fam perea mexicali bc

  • Petey!! Amazing!

  • It's clear that Peter Cetera was the star of Chicago, even though the band had a great amount of heart. Their sound is the most distinctive of any band, esp. for their horned instruments. Nobody could put together a piece with mostly horns and make it work like them.

  • It's like taking Bon Scott away from his songs in ACDC. No-one could sing them like Him. Same as Peter with chicago

  • Sasha Cohen is fine.

  • amazing...

  • @Beatlesonlyblog...I agree. Both songs are beautiful. Even though they are technically the same. This song brings back so many good memories...and Setera still has "it".

  • @Beatlesonlyblog From Chicago discography website: " The album version of "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" segued into a second song titled "Get Away," which was closer to the older horn-driven Chicago sound. Most adult contemporary radio stations at the time did not play the entire album track, however, choosing to cut it off just before "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" segued into "Get Away." About half the Top 40 radio stations played the longer version with "Get Away"".

  • The honors...

I love Peter Certera and songs.

    Wonderful....The best!

  • よい

  • Cetera Rules! Awesome Voice!

  • Brian Boitano didn't dress for the ocassion, he's dressing as a homeless down the freeway bridge with these cheap clothes, but, he's a champion and a fine skater...!!!

  • Great singing and skating form the woman, but the male skater isnt very good.

  • His voice was very low compared the 80s and 90s. I wonder why many great singers are like this. can anybody tell me why|? just curious.

  • @gwapongmaniac mmm... I guess becouse he is like 70 yo and voice change. mate that's common sence peter still sound amazing for his age.

  • @gwapongmaniac age is the suspect bradah

  • @gwapongmaniac Because rock singers notoriously don't take care of their voices. Though they do get very seasoned and very experienced over long careers, the vast, vast majority of rock singers are essentially amateurs and were never trained how to properly warm up, cool down, avoid harsh substances, don't party all night after shows, get proper sleep, rehearse seriously, and generally baby their voices. Operatic singers etc. learn all of that and their best years of singing come later in life

  • @braden7180 your right, however, a rock singer as James Hetfield, do warm up for his voice after he has sm trouple years ago, wit both alcohol, and that he didn't warm up. however his voice is still intackt and great!

  • @jinyo8700 There are always exceptions to the rule, and often many who wise up once the damage they're doing becomes apparent.

  • In 2000, the group (minus Cetera) had the opportunity to tell their story in an episode of VH1's Behind The Music. Cetera completely disowned the special and went so far as to not allow VH1 to use any of the songs he composed for the band, even declining to be interviewed (although stock footage of a Cetera interview does appear).

  • @eachmorning It was called Get Away

  • @OttawaNow honestly, i think perter should get back with the remaining members of Chicago, don't you?

  • @eachmorning Not entirely true. First of all Cetera and David Foster wrote "Hard to Say I'm Sorry/Get Away". Secondly, Chicago has always utilized and performed Cetera songs even after he left the band. Guess they figured that most of the audience was there to hear the entire Chicago catalog- especially the many top 10 hits written by Peter Cetera.

  • gmwforce1972 'Get Away' was written by Robert Lamm

A5 Hard To Say I'm Sorry / Get Away Written-by [Get Away] – Robert Lamm

    Mixed By – Bill Schnee

Arranged By [Strings] – David Foster, Jeremy Lubbock, Peter Cetera

Written-By – David Foster, Peter Cetera

  • @eachmorning Mate first of all lern the name of the songs, fyi if you see the salt lake show in 25 or 6 to 4 he made it a tribute for Robert Lamm.

  • @snakeboy66687 Info cut and paste from Discography section of Chicago website...

  • Comment removed

  • @fayette202 Read the other recent posts of mine, and you'll see.

  • @eachmorning If you check the credits on this Chicago CD, you will see that the second half of this song was COWRITTEN byPeter Cetera AND Robert Lamm, so he did NOT rip off Robert Lamm!

  • @eachmorning What are you talking about? Chicago plays his songs in every fricken concert, live DVD and album they've done since he left. Also, the tune is GET AWAY, which LAMM, Cetera and Foster wrote together.

  • @eachmorning Not just that he is really a good bass player. He was brought in so Robert Lamm would not have to kick pedals anymore on the Hammond.

  • @eachmorning Chicago has been nothing since Cetera left. I would not blame him, they still have their hits and still try to perform them; just too bad they have had a SHIT singer for the past 20 years.

  • @eachmorning really? find the Chicago video of "If You Leave Me Now" where PC is wearing a green satin jacket. I'm definitely a fan, but I don't see how anyone can look at that and see anything other than a big fruit.

  • @olflatop Back off, man. It was the 70's.

  • @eachmorning Peter was popular when he was with Chicago because he had a great voice, wrote marketable ballads, circumstantially became the front-man of the band after Kath's death, was a great bass player, and maybe because of how he dressed and showed off on stage. In that order.

  • @eachmorning Yea but he is talented as fuck and has a voice like no other. He was the best Chicago ever had to offer.

  • @RubberWilbur Except, you know, Terry Kath's guitar playing . . . and Robert Lamm and Jimmy Pankow's innovative song writing . . . or Danny Seraphine's amazing drumming skills . . .

  • the man ruins this.. she was amazing perfect.

  • the man ruins this.. she was amazing perfect.

  • I live in Germany, though I am not German by birth, however there is

particular saying I would have to mention now. We say " Ich wurde ihm nicht

von der Bettkante schmeißen" = I would not push him off my bed.

I most certainly would not LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • dang Peter's gotten old.

  • @Takerslittlelover4 We all have !! We just dont notice it because we see ourselves every

day in the mirror. No disrespect intended.

  • @Takerslittlelover4 I think he looks pretty darn good for 67.

  • massa pra caraio!!!

  • Pure class

  • he can't skate! The lady is awesome! to bad he puts a damper on their performance!

  • i agree with most comments here. peters voice is still amazing after all these years. i would love to see him rejoin chicago. but thats just a pipe dream. i think its peter and steve perry that are my most favorite singers of all time. thats just my opinion. and im more of a metal guy than anything. so.. rock on peter!!

  • Justin Beiber and two other ones did not like this song. Excellent performance by Peter Cetera. Still has a lot of that wonderful voice from those times with Chicago.

  • man crush.

  • Uhhh...was a little distracted by that pretty little figure skater....

  • Interesting Tidbit: Peter Cetera stumbled onto his style of sing when his jaw was broken and wired shut early in his singing career. He tried to sing with it wired shut and created the clinched style of articulation for which he is known.

  • @momentum942 I always was drawn to that very notable articulation myself, even in my teens...and after your post I looked into it and wiki says he got into a fight at a dodgers game in 69, wow huh...I have three young boys and as a muso myself, Cetera will be indoctrinated into them...ha ha...the music industry needs the young talent to look up to vocals such as his..so far, he has not been matched..I was quite simply blown away with this performance, and at 64 years of age..pitch perfect

  • Such A Beautiful Voice That He Had. Even He's Getting Older, His Voice Is Still The Same Like The Old Time. Go To Hell With Auto-Tune Artist Nowadays. He's For Real. :D

  • FAN BLOODY TASTIC

  • Fark...hes how old now and can still sing as good as back in the 80s? WOW.

  • Timeless voice! Bravo!!

  • Legend's voice

  • Whats the highest note he hits in this anyone got a guess?

  • @kris8144 B flat I believe

  • the skating is marvelous

  • Pete still has it, and the girls cute too.

  • he got me at "everybody needs a little time away" and at 64 years of age. bloody amazing!

  • Awesome Live performance from Peter Cetera (as usual)... Love him !!!

  • Love you Peter<3

  • His voice is a thing of beauty. Just magical.

  • Beautiful.

  • now 1 dislikes. He/she likes Justin Bieber

  • Great, there are no dislikes...

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is SPECTACULAR!!!! Three of my favorite people in one! Peter Cetera performing with a great band, plus Sasha Cohen and Brian Boitano skating on ice to this song! (I've always been in love with Sasha!) As a man not afraid to show my emotions, I believe I would have shed some tears if I were a spectator at this event ... no, I am sure I would! Very soulful music with heartfelt figure skating ... for a fan of both, there is nothing better!

  • AMEN Celticthunder! nobody today can come close..................

  • Funny that they didn't sing the words to the end part, because the words are appopriate for figure skating. ....going to jump in the air.......

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!! Thanks for sharing. I can NEVER get enough of Pete!!! ♥

  • I have to say, it's amazing that he still sounds just as good as he did in his heyday.

  • love you peter. always.

  • Peter still sounds great and STILL HANDSOME!!!! Thanks for this!

  • Wow he still sounds the way he did when he was in Chicago.

  • Both great !! What to say about the fantastic skater Sasha Cohen in this video.....

  • Both great !! What to say about the fantastic skater Sasha Cohen in this video.....

  • Both great !! What to say about the fantastic skater Sasha Cohen in this video.....

  • Sasha is so beautiful! I just love her! And great classic song by Mr. Cetera. Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • to bad today's so called singers like Justin Bieber can't sound like this

  • @CelticthunderRules justin beiber and those other POLISHED girly-boy goons can never pull off one tenth of what cetera does. Peter Cetera is as old as dirt and his voice is still more magical and capable than any young springing 20 yr old. Taking into account my very harsh and critical opinion of music/singers, he ranks as one of the best singers who has ever walked this earth. His voice sounds like an entire choir unto itself. Anything, and i mean ANYTHING he sings sounds golden.

  • @cometoanend : pure & gracious! ;oj

  • @cometoanend amen!!!!! he could sing happy birthday and id listen to it!!!!

  • @cometoanend Kinda true... Just a shame about his uppity attitude and thinking he was better than the band he rose to fame with. They even share the same opinion.

  • oh sorry, i forgot to notice the figure skaters were there too...hi

    lol

  • Peter is the greatest vocalist!!!

66 jears old and the number one.

One man for my "hall of fame"

  • @nooblar21 You mean the dark haired girl? I think she's Peter's daughter. She's done back-up for him.

  • Peter you are my vocal hero! 66 years old and still sounds like a gem!!! please, bury the hatchett with Pankow and the other old guys from Chicago. Every time I see Chicago sharing the stage with the Doobs and other greats, I think about how you should be up there singing duets with guys like Tom Johnston. Just do one more tour with them! Do it for your fans and stay in your hotel room the rest of the time! Come on Pete! One last hurrah!

  • FORMIDABLE DE SHOW. QUE SE VUELVA A REPETIR .

  • Peter's stage presence is so much better than Scheff's

  • Esto fue en "Brian Boitano Skating Spetacular"?

  • Still hasn't lost the magic voice after 40 years

  • amazing. <3

  • Peter your disquentive voice will always remain even if it dropped an Octave..your Voice belongs in evrey ones Rockers heart

  • nagyszeru

  • Beautiful...

  • Peter Cetera Still ROCKS!! How awesome is this! :-) Thumbs Up

  • peter is very good !!!!!

  • Super-outstanding vocal by Cetera...right on! Orchestra is fantastic and the skating was teriffic.
