Do you mind telling us what the cleaning routine was for the man you bought it from? The 3000 rounds in 3 days?

I'm a little leary of M4's and M16's jamming after 400 or 500 rounds if something is not done. I, too, own this same model S & W but have not run but 150 rounds through it and then with quality ammo like Hornady TAP

@slasheresk Honestly I have no idea, I know they did like I do and that is put a little gun grease on the rails of the bolt and a coating of oil on the rest of the bolt.

Really sucks we have allowed our government to ban fully automatic weapons during the Clinton era. It's illegal to own a machine gun now even though it's perfectly within our constitutional right to own one. Now they are trying to take away single shot rifles like the ar-15 and a number of shotguns away. In fact a few shotguns are already banned like the spaz-15 importation. When their done taking away rifles and shotguns then they'll come for our pistols and we'll be a socialist country.

@MikesMethods Most of what you said is wrong. It is NOT illegal to get fully-auto weapons now. The AR-15 is NOT a single shot rifle, it is semi auto. However you are right in saying that some imports are banned.

@Speedogg138 There are select dealers that sell fully automatic weapons like mac-10s, uzis, M-16s but the procedure in gaining legal status to buy them is expensive and time consuming. You have to fill out forms, pay a tax, ask your local sheriff department for permission (they will say no believe me). I can't just go to a dealer and ask for a machine gun like I can a pistol or AR-15. Name one machine gun I can tell my local dealer to buy. Please enlighten me.

@MikesMethods I'd be glad to. It is even easier than going to a local dealer because chances are they won't carry anything of the sort. However, if you live in a non-commie state unlike me here in NY, you can actually order them online and have them shipped to your local FFL. There is a process you need to go through to get it, but that wasn't the question. You said: "It's illegal to own a machine gun", which is not true.

Whats up brother? Love the rifle by the way. I purchased an M&P 15 MOE for Christmas. It is the best AR I have ever fired. Not a single jam or FFE. This is the best AR on the market for the price. I also got a GRIP POD for the range or coyote hunting... which works excellent in the field as well. Thanks for the vid.

Nice M&P Paul! I have a flat top M&P with front and rear flip up sights and an EOtec. I like that Aimpoint you have on yours also. I have never had any problems as well... they are great rifles. Great vid Paul!!

Nice M&P15 I like my AR also they are really accurate and reliable, Im thinking of getting a Aimpoint on mine the only problem is it doesnt suit on the application on my riffle, I like my Milliet DMS-1 it has an illuminated and etch reticle its a good hunting scope

@mohawksniper79 Colt is the original AR-15, and they're usually considered the best one made (Armalite is a close second in quality and cost). However, today there are many other options that are just as good at a lower price. I have a Stag, and it runs great! Other good names (at good prices) are: Smith and Wesson, Rock River Arms, Bushmaster, and there are others.
