Typical anime opening, above average but nothing special... Now the opening for SO3 was something to behold. All the SO games were phenomenal, and imo still some of the greatest gaming experiences to be had past and present. God I love Star Ocean ^^

but hey, its still a great game nonetheless, even if perhaps a bit too easy due to the newly added triple attack.

@853101989 i had a hard time finding it as well, i got it out of luck at a local used-game store but you can just look off amazon for this game, hell if your looking for rpg's then denfetly go to amazon or ebay for your shopping, unless its new like if you want FFXIII or tales of vesperia or somthing then just go to any store and you should find it

but yah check amazon, this game spersonaly my fav in the star ocean serise, though last hope was good when you look past the fanservice

@Akamatsuki her name is Welch, and according to every one of her bios her age is unknown. Her being 4-dimensional is explained in the third game and is a bit too lengthy for a youtube comment. But the creators said the 4th game takes place in an alternate universe so that's why the Welch in that game is similar but not the same.

@Akamatsuki no the idea that she's 4-dimensional includes time in that universe not applying to her. As I said the third game explains the concept in its main storyline. So no she technically does not have an unnatural age.

@Hartzilla2007 the term "alternate universe" can mean a different dimension where the same historical events and people exist only there as little as one key difference (this is overused in science fiction series). In the case of star ocean, the events of the 4th game do not take place in the eternal sphere while the 3rd game does.

While this game is really good, I had first played Star Ocean 2 first. Since then, SO2 has remained one of my favorite games and the rest of them (yes, even 3 and 4) just seem to fall really short and never match up to the greatness that was The second story. Oh and I'm sure Dias' badassness helped out quite a bit also.

Okay, I just noticed something. In many of those scenes, Roddick doesn't have a tail nor does Millie or Dorne. Only in the beginning can you notice Millie's pink tail, but I couldn't anyone's tail in the scenes.

Hey I can help. Ok the reason they ditch you is because you chose to do the private action... if you do that the group splits up. If you enter town without doing the private action, the group stays togeter. ^^ hope that helps
