@zykkfyw Sorry to say but when it comes to handling and stability, the SRT8 is no match to the Cadillac CTS-V...also in technology and performance ( handling and braking) ...I've driven both the cars so overall, the SRT8 is quite cheap worth the cost but the CTS-V outruns the SRT8 even on the track!

Being an american, I totally agree with you about american cars being garbage but I've been using the CTS-V lately and its pretty impressive ( used an

ISF about an year ago - its very impressive, liked it more than the BMW M3) but the CTS-V competes with the BMW M5 and outruns it...you should definitely give it a chance :)

Cadillac's are garbage!!!! American cars are good for about a year and then they start to fall apart and are always in the shop being repaired!!! Lexus all the way baby, I have an ISF with twin Turbos that will smoke this car any day and will not be towed to the garage after the race like the cadillac!! LOL

Ibought the auto...not knowing it was quicker than the 6 speed. I can now relax when i brake torque to 2200rpm and let loose...still with those mods i can't fully floor it.../its not the quickest off the line . IE60" but once that torque is fullly applied. it makes mince meat out of my 450rwhp GTO(NA)from any roll even though the GTO is about 400-500 lbs lighter

This car is fucking sweet... really one of my favorite sedans if not the favorite. All that said, there might be a few G8 owners that might think otherwise about 600 RWHP and 0-100 in about nine sec. in the whole bang for buck talk. But before you start hatin... The G8 is nice a really beautiful car but the Cadillac... well... it's a Cadillac what the fuck else is there to say. This is stictly looking at it from a performance aspect.

Find that hard to belive since the GXP engine and the Corvette LS3 are one in the same. And they make more parts for the Vette which is stilll in production.

I have A CTS-v, Zo6, and a totally revamped GTO.... my GTO is fun and rare, but the CTS -v with the above mods which i have,will break loose at 70-80 if your not judicious with the gas pedal. Luxury + electronics make the CTS-v

When I buy my next one it will be an automatic, used, and with ONE option: the Navigation. Then I will juice it with a new ECU, hole in the airbox, K&N filter, pulley snout swapped, and new pipes. 600whp, 200mph top end, all for about 53k

Do you have the Recaro seats? Are they confortable? And what about that sunroof? I couldn't find any video on youtube showing how it fonstions.

It is actually a turn key that never leaves the car. Unusual but cool. The prices for the new 2010 V are the same as 2009. A steal for that much car. Nothing else comes close...except buyng one used for about 10k off new. The Recaros are not worth the extra 3500. The sunroof adds weight, but is beautiful if you like them. Adds another 1000. The roof slides back in two sections, but only opens half way of its length.

I agree that the wagon and coupe are gorgeous but the latest from GM is that neither will be produced in a V version. The rumors are now swirling that they may cancel the V series entirely after this year. If true, the current V will become a collector car pretty quickly
