i read a book on the complete Elvis record sessions. it's amazing book. Elvis was a great performer and producer. he was surrounded by extremely talented people. Elvis was friends with Jackie wilson and he enjoyed LR's music, but by 1957 LR was out of the business, he came back in the mid sixties but only sang his older music.
