Just bought this game from Spain a few weeks ago and it arrived just before :D:D:D:D:D This game is pretty much near impossible to get a hold of if you're in Australia like me. The case and manual is in Spanish, but the game play dialogue and subtitles are in English so I am more than happy :D:D:D:D:D

The xbox version is such an awesome game not many RPG games match its gameplay and extra and long term playabiltiy, but whn you see how much extra stuff is in the PS3 version you can't help but feel a little hard done by.

It's a fantastic game regardless, and while it would be nice to get that extra 5%, it doesn't make ToV360 any less of a completely full and awesome game. A bigger gripe would be Tales of Graces WII and PS3. Now THAT was what you could call a "beta" to full release on another console, and guess what...we're getting the better version as well this time.

What's so hard with playing the game in Japanese... even easier if you already have the game for Xbox 360 and played it once. o_o They're not screwing anyone over, they're giving us a chance to play the game again, or for the first time, with extra stuff. It's amazing.

I have them both, and how much I love the one for Xbox, the PS3 version is far superior. : )

Fanbase?! Are you serious? XD The fans LOVE the PS3 version, the extra content, and the Higher Definition. Tales of Vesperia for Xbox 360 was one of my favourite games, and to give me a chance to play a version of the game that's even better is amazing! I'm so thankful for Namco to do this for the fans. ^_^ Fans like me, who are thanksful for getting these improved versions of the games. Tales of Symphonia still is my favourite game for Gamecube, but I bought it for PS2 and I love it even more.

@MGlBlaze googling it doesn't prove anything i found no legit resource proving it was being localized. Also Namco Bandai already released their release Schedule, up until 2011, neither Vesperia localization or Graces localization were listed. I'd say the chances are pretty low...

@Kathanis2068 Okay, I just tried to verify that and it looks like they are indeed bringing the PS3 version outside of Japan. The release is listed as 'To Be Announced', but this resolves the main problem. The whole updated re-release is still kind of dickish, but it's tolerable since it isn't exclusive to Japan any more. It's not like this is the first game to have updated re-releases quickly, after all. RE4 comes to mind (GC followed by updated PS2 version later).

that's only because sometimes (or most of the time?) the NA or even rarely the EU editions have more in them than the original Japanese game and because there is such a gap in the releases between the JP, NA and EU versions, developers have more time to put in extra stuff in the NA and EU versions. -But then, I assume, they feel somewhat guilty? how they gave extras to the foreigners rather than their native country and therefore makeup for it by releasing these international editions. - theory

@EsperTinaVI Considering the fact that we are in an age where DLC is rampant (I've always thought DLC is a really stupid idea, but that's another matter) there really is no excuse anymore (not that there ever really was) for any country where the original base game has been released to not be able to get this extra content, this applies to any country that getting more content in their games than the others, whether it be us getting more than the Japanese or the Japanese getting more than us.

They would have to make massive changes to the 360 version to add in the new characters. They change the plot and dialogue up enough to warrant remaking the game. Having Flynn and Patty in the party dramatically change the story, so much so that it can't just be DLC.
