Great movie - One of those movie where the clothes and general theme are a bit dated, but the theme, and message are absolutely timeless. GREAT movie

wow...so many memories.....i remember getting in trouble with my typing teacher because of Jaime Escalante...LOL...that was so funny!! now is time for US to help KIMO...i'm so sad for the news...and his cancer! hope we have everyone getting together @Garfield High this Saturday 3-6-2010 once again and help KIMO for anything he needs... HE NEEDS US!

this a great movie based on true events only problem with this trailer is it seems like a cholo and teacher working together when the movie is more about a math class with students, an instructor, a high school, and an obstacle they had to over come but this could be a tv commercial rather then a trailer will nobody is perfect this will have to do lols
