Oh Boo-Hoo. So what if the book is nothing like the Trailer? That doesn't mean it isn't worth reading. It's well written and isn't just pointless comedy with corny catchphrases and silly zombie killing like most zombie stories are these days. It actually has CONTENT! An actual story which makes sense and can be followed. So stop your whining, and go watch Shaun of the Dead if that's what you're into, rather than this masterpiece of a book which tributes the Trekkies and Trekkers all over.

and none of the jokes are in the book, and the klingon's not fat and a chicken, but tall and tough, the redshirt dies in a complete different way, no awesome "live long and prosper"-execution quote and and and.....

this trailer is a big fat lie, i'm on page 177 of 278 (ebook) and no hot orion-girl so far (but a leia organa in a golden bikini), no borg-dude, the hero is not a kirk-impersinator, but a bellboy (ex-marine) working at the hotel. no awesome weapons like shotguns, but taserguns and stuff

I bought this book on kindle and am 32% through the book and it is fun, as I am working towards my Bachelor degree in Hotel Management and I'm a Trekker. I never thought much about zombies, but after considering "What if I was being chased by creatures and they keep coming...aaahhh" I guess I can see a little bit of why people are so into zombies, even though not my cup of tea.

My mother is an old trek fan and has forced me to watch every trek- sode there was since i was two so much so that i know them by heart. She would just die of delight were this made into a movie. They could just use the actors in the advertisement. Even though I hate the series I would totally go pay to see this.

The book is the teaser. if you get the book and buy enough copies of it, they will see the gold mine concept they have here, and will make the feature into a film.
