Kevin Francis and Ricky Otto were the worst strike pairing I have ever seen in the flesh at Molineux; then again they are better than Zigic and Jerome.
Thanks for uploading this. Great memories. 15 years on and still the happiest moment of my life after the injustice of the Blues penalty. Even watching it back now is electrifying.
Remember leaving the ground at the end and there was a man selling giant Steve Bull posters at the end of the subway. He was getting absolutely swamped - he couldn't sell them fast enough!
@DAJAZDJ1 No mate...he was just loyal to Wolves and wanted to be in the top flight with us, unfortunately he didnt. He probably should have left to fulfill his potential, and he would have been prolific. Gazza regarded him as one of the best strikers in the country. Plus, isn't the International stage classed as quite a high level of football? Think it does somehow. It's why Pele's name is on the map.
@10stokesy INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALLERS ARE NOT REALLY THE TOP LEVEL LOOK AT THE TEAM THE AUSSIE'S BEAT 36-0 THERE INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALLERS BUT MY LOCAL PUB'S SUNDAY LEAGUE RESERVE TEAM WOULD PROBALY BEAT THEM STEVE BULL CANT BE CALLED A GREAT PLAYER COS BASICALLY HE WAS JUST A LOWER LEAGUE GOALSCORER AND IN FACT SCORED A LOT OF HIS GOALS IN THE BOTTOM 2 DIVISIONS I THINK HE WOULD OF BEEN LIKE JERMAIN BECKFORD PROLIFIC AT LOWER LEAGUE TEAMS BUT UNABLE TO DO IT IN THE TOP FLIGHT
@DAJAZDJ1 Christ. That Pele bloke must have been pretty average then if the International stage and the opposition aren't top level, and considering he didn't play in any other league than the highly offensive Brazilian Serie A where they didn't (and still don't) practice defensive tactics, where he was able to score thousands of goals, he can't be considered great, because he didn't play in Europe once? And before you say it, I am not comparing Pele to anyone, just the situation.
@DAJAZDJ1 Did you ever actually see Bull play live mate? I saw him hundreds of times. Fair enough if you 'don't like the bloke' or you're jealous of him, but when you hear fellow professionals giving him endless superlatives and praise, I think I'm inclined to believe them over You, for example, along with the fact that I saw him many times with my own eyes. You're comment about the Aussies is irrelevant, Bully played in WC qualifiers, and played very well. Scoring crucial goals. HIGH LEVEL.
prob my favourite bully goal ...was in jack harris remember donkey francis fallin over his own legs and was gutted peno awarded but all worth while for bullys perfect strikers goal cheers for upload ..... still get proper tingles hark now hear the south bank sing
absolutely brilliant! 10 years old, middle of the southbank, priceless. i agree cant remember goin any more mental apart from playoffs!!! and maybe sheff wed penalties!! bully u are god. the legend that is SImon Osborn with a beautiful assist aswell! severely underated player.
Notice how early Bully starts to sprint. As soon as the ball is passed forward he has allready passed the first defender, then as the ball strikes the ground he is past the second defender. Bully was 31 at the time, but still a deadly predator. He reacts to that pass, way before the defenders, and thats why he was always so dangerous.
doesnt this make ya wanna punch devlin n francis?? deano went don for a rightfull penalty n played on! but this was my first ever match, at the tender age of 8 in thenorth bank, im somewheer in the crowd u can see after bully scored, hooked ever since! WE HATE ALBION SAY WE HATE ALBION!
Oo, Bully, Bully!!!

I don't care how funny he was, having Father Ted referee a first division football match was not a good idea.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Keep asking myself why...
Unfortunately I dont have anything other than Wolves, and of course the few English games I've uploaded. Might be more, but just a few.
I used to have a really cool documentary about Birmingham, but havent been able to locate it. Might show up though.

Although I'm a Birmingham City fan I love watching football from this era. Got any of specific teams or only Wolves?
Would love to see clips of 'The Match' from Sunday, presented by Tony Francis. Louie Donowa of Birmingham scoring.
Basically upload what you got mate! This is classic stuff.
